Mikaela has been active in EU consulting and project management since 1995, in Brussels and in Washington DC. She has worked for specialist EU business consultancies, the Swedish Trade Council in Brussels, and was also director of the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce in Washington DC.
She has a comprehensive understanding of Swedish business culture and European political affairs – she is an expert at understanding how policy and legislative issues impact businesses. Mikaela has been using these skills to provide companies and organisations with insightful EU affairs advice for 20 years.
She is familiar with a wide range of policy areas including health care, energy, environment, chemicals, climate change and life sciences; as well as the complex EU tender and procurement rules and R&D programmes.
A native Swedish speaker, Mikaela is fluent in French, English and Dutch.
