Goretti is ADS Insight’s media relations specialist after having developed a sound expertise in the European media landscape (with experience in local, regional, national and International press) for more than 12 years.
She holds several Master’s degrees in Journalism, Communications, and TV Production and Reporting by the Pontifical University of Salamanca and El Mundo TV, which were completed with professional courses in International Journalism and Photojournalism by EL PAIS, as well as in social media management for business and European projects.
In 2009, she was selected as “BlueBook Stagiaire” at the European Commission, DG COMM, where she worked at the unit Task-Force responsible for setting-up some media networks (Euranet.eu, Presseurop.eu or the EUcalendar).
Since 2011, at ADS Insight, she has been gaining a thorough understanding of the EU political system and decision-making, in particular concerning education at all levels (from school education to higher education and vocational education) and education reforms in developing countries. This activity has taken her to reach a deep expertise in the African Union as well, focusing currently on the implementation of a new EU strategy with Africa in key sectors like education, food safety/agriculture, health and energy.
Sustainability as a whole, including the transition from Corporate Social and Responsible (CSR) initiatives to sustainability reporting, corporate due diligence, sustainability measurement, EU Taxonomy or SDGs performance, is also part of her brief as Senior Advisor at ADS Insight.
A native Spanish speaker, Goretti is fluent in English and French, and has a basic knowledge of Portuguese.
